Comparison
Workvivo is the one that feels most like a social network inside: a feed, recognition, podcasts. It's Irish and it has belonged to Zoom since 2023. It was also Meta's migration partner when Workplace closed, so they know how to do this. Here's the table, including the rows we lose.
Of 12 rows, Workvivo wins 5 and we win 4.
Workvivo started in Ireland and has belonged to Zoom since 2023. Their product is the one that most resembles an internal social network: a feed with reactions, peer recognition, internal podcasts and a deliberately informal feel.
When Meta closed Workplace, Workvivo was its recommended migration partner and brought across groups, profiles, posts, comments and reactions. That says a fair amount about how serious they are. If you're coming from Workplace, keep them on the list.
Row by row
Blastack
€1.00 per person per month for the base plan, plus ten modules costing between one and ten cents each: with all of them switched on, €1.28. There's a calculator on the site.
Workvivo
No per-person price published: they point you at their sales team.
Blastack
Thirty people is €30 a month for the base plan, or €38.40 with all ten modules. No monthly minimum.
Workvivo
Not published. Their product is aimed at large workforces, and API access sits in their top plan.
Blastack
We have a recognition module, at two cents per person per month.
Workvivo
It's among the best things they have, with a rewards add-on on top. It goes further than ours.
Blastack
There is no audio module, and it isn't planned.
Workvivo
Internal podcasts, which is a feature almost nobody else has.
Blastack
We don't integrate with Zoom in any way.
Workvivo
They belong to Zoom, and it can be bundled into the same contract. If you're already a Zoom customer, find out what it actually costs you before you compare anything.
Blastack
We bring across the workforce, the structure and the posts with their original dates, but we have no tool built for Workplace specifically.
Workvivo
They were Meta's recommended migration partner and have the path worn in, reactions included.
Blastack
Single sign-on with the company account over OpenID Connect — Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace and Okta — plus SCIM 2.0 provisioning, so joiners and leavers arrive from your HR system on their own. It's the corporate identity module at two cents per person per month, not a reason to move you up a plan. There is no SAML, and that is a decision rather than a gap: SAML is signed XML, verifying it properly means XML canonicalisation, and that is where most of the authentication bypasses of the last decade have come from. If your tender requires SAML 2.0, we lose this row. Worth keeping the scope in mind either way: most of your workforce has no account in the corporate directory at all, so single sign-on covers the office and the joining codes cover the shop floor.
Workvivo
They have it, as you'd expect in their segment.
Blastack
Interface in twelve languages — English, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Swedish, Dutch, Polish, Romanian and Czech — and posts in those same twelve: each person sees the whole app in theirs. There is no machine translation: whoever publishes writes every version.
Workvivo
Multilingual.
Blastack
Our own servers in the European Union, no transfers outside the EEA, with the GDPR Article 28 data processing agreement and the deletion deadlines in writing.
Workvivo
The company is Irish, but it belongs to Zoom, which is American. This isn't a disqualification: it's the specific question your data protection officer is going to ask, and it's worth having the answer in writing.
Blastack
Month to month, no minimum term, charged on active people.
Workvivo
They don't publish their contract terms.
Blastack
Export of the workforce and the content, with the deletion deadlines in writing.
Workvivo
Their terms say explicitly that they hand over the data "in an Extract format to Customer through the Service at no additional cost" if you ask within 30 days of termination. They're one of the few who commit in writing to it being free.
Blastack
None. We don't have ISO 27001 and we don't have SOC 2.
Workvivo
A much larger company inside a listed group; ask what they hold today.

The Workvivo figures are the ones they publish on their website, in their developer portal and in their terms of service, checked in August 2026. They change, and we are not a neutral source: check them with Workvivo before you decide anything.
No spin
If any of these three is what you need, go with them. We would rather lose here than six months in.
Workvivo manages to make an internal tool feel like somewhere you actually want to go. In an office, that's half the battle. In a plant running three shifts it counts for less, because the problem there isn't atmosphere, it's finding out what's going on.
Their recognition module with rewards goes further than ours, and hardly anyone else has an internal podcast. If those two things are part of your communication plan, we don't have them at the same level.
In both cases they start with a real advantage: in one because the migration path is already worn in, in the other because it can come out nearly free inside a contract you already hold. Worth checking before you compare standalone prices.
Our side
Our price is published, with a calculator. Theirs depends on a conversation, and with a small workforce that conversation usually ends in a number that doesn't fit.
Our own servers in the European Union, no transfers outside the EEA, and the deadlines in writing. With a supplier inside a United States group, that same conversation needs clauses, assessments and legal team time.
Workvivo shines in offices. We're built so that someone with no computer, no work email address and no interest in installing anything can still get in: a code, and their own phone.
