Construction and installation

Internal communications for construction and installation firms

Crews spread across sites that change every week. Blastack puts health and safety and the weekly plan on the phone, with a record of who has read it.

What happens today

The four problems that keep coming up

The site changes every week

Today's crew isn't where it was last month, and the mailing list never matches reality.

Safety you have to be able to evidence

If the HSE turns up, you have to be able to show that the safety information went out, and who got it.

Subcontractors and your own people

They work the same site and they don't all need to receive the same thing.

Reports on paper

They get wet, they get lost and they reach the office three days late.

Use cases

What it gets used for in Construction

  • Safety notice with a read receipt before anyone sets foot on site
  • Weekly plan targeted by crew
  • Incident report with a photo, straight from site
  • Technical documents you can open on a phone
  • Site workers join with a code, with no company email address

What we don't solve

Subcontractors don't get a separate account

There are no shared spaces between companies. If you want a subcontractor's people to receive your safety notices, they come in as one more person in your organisation, with their department and their site, and they count on the month's invoice. It works, but it's worth knowing before you do the sums.

At an inspection we could show who had read the procedure and when. That counts for a lot.
