Announcements with photos, video, PDFs and links, targeted by department or site as you publish. For people on a line or behind a till it is usually the first company intranet they have ever seen, and it opens in the phone's browser with nothing to install. With comments and replies, because one-way communication stops being read by the third week.

Communities by site
Head office, regional branches and each plant with its own space, and sections inside each one. Someone in Glasgow does not get the noise from Manchester. It is a separate module, €0.04 per person per month.
Who each announcement reaches
You choose as you publish: the whole company, specific departments or specific sites. Anyone outside the list does not see it.
What you can attach
Photo, video, GIF, PDF and link previews. What you paste in is shown, not downloaded.
A real conversation
Comments with nested replies, emoji and GIFs. And the option to close them when they do not belong.
Pinned posts
What matters stays at the top until it stops mattering.
Sections
Day to day, official announcements, training. Everything in its place and filterable. They come with the communities module.
Publishing takes under a minute
You write, choose whether it goes to the whole company or to one site, attach whatever is needed and publish. If the person writing has no publishing rights, their text goes into the review queue instead of getting lost.

That covers the noticeboard and the directory. The other modules switch on and off from inside the tool, at between one and ten cents per person. No setup fee and no minimum term.
